There are a lot of ways that one can recycle their old computers and laptops, so they will have room in their closets to toss their laundry in the next time the parents come to visit. There are a few different options that one has when looking to recycle their old computers. Whether selling or donating your computer, you’ll find a better way of dispersing your PC rather than junking it.

Another way to get rid of your old computer is to post it on eBay. If it still works you are in luck, as there are many people that will buy an old PC and refurbish it themselves. If the PC is not working, there are some people out there that seek broken computers and use their parts on other PC’s. They may dissect it and use parts such as the hard rive or memory cards, which are a valuable to those who are PC literate.

There are also a lot of schools that will accept old computers to put in their libraries or classrooms. Sometimes libraries will seek out old computers as well and put them in their children’s area so they can learn on them. You may not make money off the old computer, but you will be doing something good for both the environment and the children.

Another way you can recycle your old PC is to use it. You may not be able to surf the web any longer at super speed, but your PC may still have some use to you. You can use the old hard rive to just store your music or movies. You can also recycle your monitor, keyboard and printer, saving you money and keeping the environment healthy. Some manufactures will take your old PC if all the other options don’t work for you. Many will have in store drop offs available.

There are many options available to keep us from having to leave our PC on the corner only to be junked and effect the environment in a negative way.

It my not be interesting to many people but the personal computer is a very useful tool that can be used in many ways to accomplish common things people need everyday.

For creating reports, presentations, databases, and sending email. A favorite application to use to accomplish productive tasks includes Microsoft Office, which can be purchase from Microsoft’s website at a discount if you are a qualifying user or your local computer store. Microsoft Office can practically accomplish any productivity task you desire, from adding pictures and design to a report with Word to creating a colorful picture and sound presentation with PowerPoint. Microsoft Office is an excellent tool for word processing and is highly recommended.

For those that seek to be entertained by their personal computer, the personal computer can be used to play computer games. There are many computer games on the internet that are free to download. A popular gaming site is Shockwave.com. It is also possible to download games from the Cnet site at the address www.download.com. This is a very useful site for those of you who like to find optional computer programs to download on your computer for free or a trial. For more advanced gamers going to the computer store to pick up your favorite or most appealing computer game.

For individuals that enjoy socializing and sharing personal and group interests with the world, there are many social networks available that are just a blast to join. Personal computer cover many areas of including personals, blog creation and response, chatting, music listening, gaming, and much more that can be found while exploring classifieds and just browsing through the site. Videos and music playlists can be added to a home page which can be designed from thousands of html design templates that are found on the web with a search.

Another great and amazing use of your personal computers is to watch movies. Most computers in the last 5 years have DVD players included with them that allow playing of movies from the comfort of anywhere your personal computer can fit. Many people do not think to use their personal computer as a television. It is an inexpensive way to use the personal computer when you want to watch media on the go as opposed to purchasing a portable DVD player. TV tuners can be purchased for personal computers allowing for viewing of cable television broadcasts on the go.
