Imagine being involved in an important conversation, and you get a threatening message that your cell phone battery is low. This can piss you off completely, and might create a wrong impression about you, especially if this happens while dealing with business calls.

There are lots of people trying to keep up with their cell phone battery life. They certainly want it to survive longer so that they can save themselves from all the possible hassles.

The most common mistake most people end up doing is overcharging their battery. While one must charge their battery when they receive the message of low battery, they must not overcharge the cell phone battery. This is not good for the life expectancy of your cell phone battery, especially if you are expecting a longer life expectancy from your battery. Over charging heats the battery, and drains its life expectancy.

Cleaning your cell phone and battery is another neglected part which can improve your battery life to an extent. Often you will find dust and rust when you open the cell phone for cleaning the battery. Also, you will find dust around the area where you plug in to charge your cell phone battery. Too much of dust in this area affects the connectivity, and it may take longer to charge the battery.

They are a great way to improve the cell phone battery life. Now you no longer have to worry about getting disconnected during an important call, due to low battery.

Make sure your cell phone carrier covers the areas you’re traveling to, and have them switch-on your International plan if necessary. Leave your additional cameras or video recorders at home, unless your income is derived mainly from your photos.

Use your cell phone to take a guided tour of a museum, facilitate an airport pickup or check the status of your flight. Any simple cell phone can do this and more, and largely at no cost beyond what you pay for a standard phone call or text message. And don’t worry, using a cell phone as a travel tool does not require a degree in mechanical engineering.

Better quality cell phone makes our journey easy & stress free. If we want to contact our relative, friend cell phone does this job easiest. So always go with right device & better quality products.

According to reports, the Microsoft has declared that the new mobile phones operating Windows Mobile 6.5 will be available worldwide very soon and will be available from AT&T, Sprint, and Verizon Wireless.

The new range of mobile phones will also sell under the own brand “Windows Phone”. With Windows Mobile 6.5, Microsoft is expecting to convince mobile phone users that these new mobile phones are not just good for doing work only. Most of Microsoft’s mobile phones focus in recent times has been on improving the operating system’s consumer features in an attempt to recover ground lost to their rivals.

A general manager in the Windows Mobile unit said “We know people want a phone for their whole life. They just frankly want to do more. That’s why we’ve shifted.”

Main features of Windows Mobile 6.5 includes conversation threaded e-mail and an improved Web browsing, along with a new Windows Marketplace application store.

All age groups use their mobiles in nearly all their daily activities. Mobile media enable learners to access information and learning support whenever they need. The students of the future will demand the learning support that is appropriate for their situation or context. Mobiles will be a key technology to provide that learning support.

More than 50% of the world population uses a mobile phone today. Digital natives (those who grow up with computers, internet and mobile devices) use mobile media as tools for informal learning and for everyday living. This influences the way they communicate, live and learn. The key question is what this use of mobile learning tools means for learning. In other words: how can we unleash the power of contextual effects with ubiquitous technology for learning. It calls for a rethinking of education with its classical educational settings.

Mobile technology changes the way we learn, it can augment our capabilities to connect with others, it enhances our physical environment, it enables new ways of learning at school, home, and at work.

Education providers, innovators of technologies and instructional methodologists should collaborate to enhance learning with technology. This will mean in some instances a drastic change of the educational systems and organizations we know today. It also means that in some instances new technologies, being invented or used for education today, will be hyped, fade away, or probably used for something completely different in 20 years.

The inaugural address is part of the symposium Mobile Learning in Context. The symposium highlights several important aspects of mobile learning like personalization, contextualization, accessibility, informal learning, and nomadic learning support. The goal is to provide researchers and practitioners a new vision of technology enhanced education

A growing number of mobile phone battery explosion, indicating that cell phone batteries laptop battery are becoming a serious hazard for the safety of mobile phones, mobile phone battery that further development. Thus develop applications of new mobile phone batteries will be some businesses to expand new market opportunities.

At present, mobile phone battery safety problems, pollution of the environment, the capacity is too small and other issues have become increasingly prominent, gradually exposed to people’s attention.

The mobile phone battery is constantly exposed to new problems, to become an urgent need to upgrade cell phone perfect function.

First of all, the battery itself, the quality of failure or improper use of mobile phone batteries can make a security risk. In recent years, mobile phone battery exploded on the media reports of injuries continues to grow. Mobile security incidents occurred mainly those counterfeit mobile phone batteries counterfeit products, but also lack some of the regular production of batteries. It is understood that some of the battery is charging excessive state, the battery temperature rises, the battery sharp increase in internal pressure that may occur spontaneous combustion or explosion hazards.

Second, the mobile phone battery pollution. Contains large amounts of discarded cell phone batteries, lead, heavy metals, by the State classified as hazardous waste. Heavy metals on the human body itself, there will be radiation, but a mobile phone battery even more harmful to the environment, about the equivalent of 100 batteries of pollution.

Third, the current mobile phone battery can power a short time, a certain degree of inconvenience to consumers. At present, mobile phone batteries generally only a few hours of talk time, standby time for dozens of hours, people use mobile phones, we often encounter a sudden no power or cell phone cell phone battery is not enough when they go out, etc., and give users a number of. Therefore, the cell phone battery standby time longer, even more convenience to users.

As the mobile phone battery can not be ignored the existence of these problems, businesses develop more safety, environmental protection, closer to consumer demand for mobile phone battery as its market development opportunities.

A new type of mobile phone batteries, need to be able to bring more convenience to users. Such as fuel cells, in the automotive, machinery and other products have already had a good application, if we can use the phone, it will constitute a major improvement in mobile phone batteries. Because it has a fuel cell different from mobile phone batteries currently used in different characteristics.

First of all, fuel cells, less polluting and more environmentally friendly. In general the use of methanol fuel cells, methane and other organic fuels to generate energy, they generate the final emission material is water, carbon dioxide.

The fuel cell energy conversion rate. The use of electronic chemical reaction to produce electricity, it can make full use of the fuel to maximize the generated power. The use of fuel cells on the phone, you can extend the battery life.

A new type of mobile phone battery, that is to be able to bring more benefits to users, but also suitable as the special requirements of mobile phone accessories. And the mobile phone battery standard, practice in the application development and application of mobile phone batteries were new issues that required attention.

The Cellular Telecommunications Industry Association has asked the IRS to repeal an old tax rule that required employees to maintain logs detailing their business usage of mobile phones.

The CTIA filed comments with the IRS on the listed property rule for employer-provided cell phones. The organization noted that when cell phones were added to the listed property rule in 1989, mobile phone use was uncommon and cell phones were considered luxury items.

On their cell phone logs, individuals are expected to record the amount of the expense, the time and place the cell phone was used, the business purpose of the expense, and the business relationship to the taxpayer of the persons using the property. However, the IRS and Congress have been considering repealing the arcane rule.

IRS Commissioner Douglas Shulman and Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner have asked Congress to pass legislation to end the tax on personal use of employer-provided mobile phones (see Shulman, Geithner Call for End to Cell Phone Use Tax). In response, Senators John Kerry, D-Mass., and John Ensign, R-Nev., along with Representatives Sam Johnson, R-Texas, and Earl Pomeroy, D-N.D., have sponsored the Mobile Act (S. 144/H.R. 690) to address this matter.

However, the CTIA wants them to go further than the IRS has proposed. “We agree with Secretary Geithner’s and Commissioner Shulman’s June 16 statement that said it must be ‘clear that there will be no tax consequence to employers or employees for personal use of work-related devices such as cell phones provided by employers.’

Unfortunately, the alternatives proposed by the IRS are either incomplete or inadequate solutions that would continue to subject employees and employers to onerous call log requirements,” said CTIA president and CEO Steve Largent in a statement. “Instead, CTIA and the wireless industry support the Mobile Act, which would remove mobile devices from the listed property rule and accomplish Secretary Geithner’s and Commissioner Shulman’s goal of repealing a burdensome and poorly understood tax rule. There is broad, bipartisan support for this legislation and we urge the Congress to act on it this year.”

It’s difficult to imagine life without the cell phone or the laptop.

With 250 million mobile phone subscribers currently in India, and many more using other appliances like television, computer, vacuum cleaner, microwave etc, the fear is that these ‘essentials’ of life may actually be posing a big health risk because of their electromagnetic fields (EMFs).

As such, research has not yet established anything definite about the impact of EMFs on the human body. We use on a daily basis — microwaves, cordless phones, computer monitors, fax machines, cell phones, cell phone towers, hair dryers and so on.

Various international studies have tried to establish the link between EMFs and some diseases. Doctors believe that constant exposure to high frequency EMFs leads to digestive disorders, fatigue, hypertension, insomnia, irritability, low blood pressure, and infertility in males, cancer, neurological and cardiovascular problems.

In recent years, experts have been studying the impact of cell phones and cell phone towers on the human body, and the initial research results have not been too comforting. A recently published a research paper on the link between mobiles and brain cancer. Using mobiles for over 10 years could more than double the risk of brain cancer. Mobile phone radiation could heat the side of the head or thermoelectrically interact with the brain, while Bluetooth devices and “unshielded” headsets could “convert the user’s head into an effective, potentially self-harming antenna”.

Similarly, cell phone towers are a cause of concern. A researcher in the found that exposure to radio frequency (RF) signals generated by the use of cellular phones has increased dramatically and is reported to affect physiological, neurological, cognitive and behavioral changes and to induce, initiate and promote carcinogenesis.

If there is anything that annoys more cell phone users it is loosing battery power while you are on the phone. This has happened to nearly everybody, and at least once it caught you by complete surprise. When you are running a cell phone as powerful as the iPhone, it is easy to understand why the battery power begins to drain. When you are listening to your favorite song, checking your email and text messaging several friends at once, you are requiring a lot of the cell phones’ power. Thus, you will begin to drain your cell phone of battery life quicker than you thought.

Even though, on the Apple website, they clearly explain the battery life expectations, they only include the information if you are running one application at a time. However, if iPhone users are known for anything, it is for their ability to multitask. Yet, multitasking means a shorter battery life.

However, there are several things that you can do to make your phone’s battery life even longer. Of course, the iPhone isn’t known for draining its battery extremely quick, there is always room for a prolonged battery performance. If you follow these tips, than you will have an iPhone that lasts you longer than you could even imagine. Perhaps the best tip that anyone with an iPhone can follow is to simply turn off your Bluetooth if you are not using it. Very little people understand that when you keep your Bluetooth turned on, when you are not using it, you are draining your battery.

This is because there is a set amount of power that is controlled by the Bluetooth section of your iPhone, and the power is draining because the phone is constantly searching for other Bluetooth devices. If you do not want to pair with a Bluetooth device, than make sure that your Bluetooth is turned off.

Another tip to making your battery life on your iPhone last longer is to always lock your iPhone when you are done using it. When you are finished talking on the phone with your best friend, checking your e-mail or sending a text message, make sure that you activate the lock button. Many people wait for the screen to shut down by itself after they are using it, while this may seem like a great idea, you are wasting battery life by doing so. Also, make sure that you set your auto-lock because this is a great way to ensure your phone will lock itself just in case you forget to. There are many iPhone owners that set their auto lock for five minutes after use.

However, if you multiply this five minutes of power usage by ten times per day, your battery will not last you as long as you might think. This is why it is always suggested that you set your auto lock for one minute (1) after you have completed using your phone. This will ensure that the iPhone screen will not stay lit when it is not being used. If you want to have a hassle-free way to save battery life, than this is the way to do it.

A study on effects of mobile phone towers and cell phones on honey bees conducted in Kerala, India, has revealed that mobile towers and cell phone emit electromagnetic waves that may wipe out honey bees.

Cell phones when kept close to beehives drastically reduced the bee population within a short time span. A beehive is a colony that has the eggs, the queen bee and the worker bees. The job of the worker bees is to travel, collect nectar and reach back to its beehive.

Electromagnetic waves emitted by cell phones and the towers interfere with the navigational skills of the worker bees, as a result the worker bees fail to reach their home destination. Without the worker bees, the beehives are left only with the queen and the eggs resulting in a total collapse.

1 Lac people in southern state of Kerala are indulged in Agriculture. With too many mobile phone towers the bee population are drastically reducing and causing a concern to their livelihood.

A cell phone tower can collapse a colony in just 10 days. With more number of cell phone towers it is estimated that the bees may be extinct within 10 years.

You may also want to occasionally clean the bottom where you connect the charger. For this, you can dip a soft bristled toothbrush in a bit of rubbing alcohol (do not immerse it) and gently brush the connection area to free up any goo or small particles that are wedged or blocking your connectors.

Never use any type of liquid behind the battery. Most phone manufacturers have a dot or line on the back behind the battery that – if gotten even remotely wet or damp – will leave a tell-tale mark. It won’t hurt your phone, but if you should have an issue while it is under warranty they will assume it is water damage and won’t even bother taking it apart to see otherwise.

Quick Tips:-

* Try to use a clean, lightweight cloth.
* Don’t use a rag that is frequently exposed to basic chemicals like bleach.
* Use a cloth that won’t leave behind little bits of fuzz or lint. IE: Makeup Facial Pad

Warnings:-

* It is highly recommended that you do not do this. Taking apart the phone voids the warranty. It is very easy to short circuit a cell phone. The chances of your phone ever working again are very slim.
* Don’t apply alcohol to the phone’s charging port or its interior unless you are using denatured alcohol. As well as possibly voiding your warranty, it could also wreck your phone.
